Saints bring in veteran running back Kareem Hunt for a visit
The New Orleans Saints have high hopes of turning things around next season. Those hopes rest on the move to bring in former Las Vegas Raiders star Derek Carr.
With Carr coming to the Big Easy, the Saints could be a dark horse in the NFC as a result. New Orleans plays in arguably one of the worst divisions in the NFC South.

Unfortunately, the team has suffered some setbacks ahead of the NFL preseason. The team lost Eno Benjamin for the season due to an Achilles injury. As well as that, they won’t have star running back Alvin Kamara available due to a three-game suspension.
In an effort to bring in some help in the backfield, the Saints have brought in veteran back Kareem Hunt for a visit, according to ESPN.
Free agent running back Kareem Hunt will visit the New Orleans Saints on Tuesday, a source told ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
The Saints are looking for running back depth after Eno Benjamin was placed on injured reserve with a ruptured Achilles. Starting running back Alvin Kamara will be suspended for the first three games of the season due to a violation of the NFL’s personal conduct policy.
Hunt would be an ideal addition for the Saints, as he has proven he can be the No. 1 option out of the backfield as well as being able to flourish at No. 2 at the running back position.

Obviously, that makes Hunt an intriguing free agent, but it remains to be seen whether he signs with New Orleans.
