Super Bowl 57 odds: 5 best value bets in NFC

The Super Bowl 57 odds are out, and these five NFC squads are intriguing bets for cashing at a good value.

5. Minnesota Vikings (+3500)

Picking the Vikings is certainly a long shot based on them having a new head coach and a quarterback many believe they’d like to get out from under in Kirk Cousins. Still, Minnesota is talented on both sides of the ball and certainly could win the NFC North should the Green Bay Packers lose a few pieces this offseason and/or trade Aaron Rodgers. Minnesota isn’t likely to win it all, but at 35/1, not a bad place to start.

4. Los Angeles Rams (+1200)

The Rams are coming off a championship in which they went from the No. 4 seed to the Lombardi Trophy. Can they be even better next year? History says that’s incredibly unlikely with the New England Patriots of 2003-04 being the last champion to repeat. Still, the NFC is significantly weaker than the AFC and Matthew Stafford is a top-three quarterback in the conference. Los Angeles is going to be right in the mix come January.

3. Arizona Cardinals (+2500)

Last season, the Cardinals were the best team in football through the midway point, the final undefeated record. Then, as we’ve seen in seasons past, Arizona fell apart down the stretch, and what looked to be a club with home-field advantage ended up being a one-and-done wild card team. Can Kyler Murray step up and earn a huge second contract? It’s possible, and if he does, the Cards are really dangerous.

2. Philadelphia Eagles (+4000)

The Eagles have three first-round picks, which means one of two things: either they’re going to be much better around young quarterback Jalen Hurts, or they’re going to have the ammo to trade for a veteran to replace him. Philadelphia is also in the NFC East, which is a poor division and has been for years. The Eagles are a great value at 40/1 considering all their have to offer bettors.

1. Green Bay Packers (+1400)

This is all about Aaron Rodgers. While Rodgers is determining his future, the Packers are one of the best bets regardless of conference. They’ve been the No. 1 seed in the NFC twice in the past two seasons, only to fall. short of the Super Bowl on each occasion. Eventually, one of the league’s top rosters is going to break through. Even with some expected losses in March to free agency, the Packers will be a favorite if Rodgers remains in Titletown.
