Although this is a disappointing development for Levis, who has underachieved since being drafted No. 33 overall by the Titans in the 2023 NFL Draft, Tennessee has already begun to head in another direction. The struggling franchise recently brought in quarterback Cam Ward with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, signaling a change at the most important position on the field.

Ward will likely be the Week 1 starter for the Titans, with the team hoping he’ll be the face of the franchise moving forward.
Cameron Ward, the first overall pick in the 2025 draft, will take the first-team reps for the Titans in training camp and likely be backed up by Brandon Allen, a veteran free agent addition who spent three seasons with Titans coach Brian Callahan when the two were with the Cincinnati Bengals.
Only time will tell whether Ward will be the player the team needs under center, but the franchise seems to have high hopes for the University of Miami product, who many believe could be the next young star at the quarterback position in the NFL.
