Tyreek Hill vents ‘frustration’ after disappointing Dolphins season

Since the Miami Dolphins fell short of reaching the playoffs, the focus remains on star wide receiver Tyreek Hill’s future with the franchise.

Hill put that discussion on himself after his strong comments following the regular season finale loss to the New York Jets that suggested that he wanted out of Miami. The All-Pro wideout has now attempted to shift the perspective regarding his remarks, voicing that it came out of frustration rather than desiring to play elsewhere.

“What y’all had heard at the end of the season was frustration,” Hill said via ESPN. “I’ve been winning my whole life, bruh. Y’all don’t understand, I bust my ass every day. I deserve to feel like that; I deserve to have some kind of opinion. Y’all just want me to say, ‘Oh well, get ’em next year?’ Nah, f— that. We’ve got to come back. We got to put some pressure on motherf—–. Y’all got to fix this s—, come on. Add some motherf—— dogs in this b—-. I compete, I love to compete, bruh.”

The entire situation forced the Dolphins to address the matter, presenting it as the organization having no desire to move him. Meanwhile, head coach Mike McDaniel stated that he felt Hill made the comments due to his emotions riding high at the time.

The 2024 season featured plenty of ups and downs for the Dolphins that saw them struggle to make a serious playoff push. Hill also experienced a down year in terms of production with 81 catches for 959 receiving yards and six touchdowns.

He dealt with a torn ligament in one of his wrists that he played with for the last two months of the season. Beyond all that, it appears Hill remains committed to the Dolphins for the 2025 season.
