NHL Thanksgiving Games Preview
Yes, there are a lot of football games on today, but after you are burnt out on turkey and perhaps pig skin you can watch two evening hockey games to change up the pace. As it turns out the perfect dessert may just be a couple of hockey games as the Vancouver Canucks take on the Ottawa Senators and the Edmonton Oilers clash with the Predators in Smashville.
Canucks @ Senators
The Canucks and Senators will be meeting for the first time this season and they will also run into each other in March. Expect both these teams to bring it as both are  struggleing and in need of some marks in the W column.
The Canucks are starting a three-game road trip against the Senators. They are looking to avoid a three-game skid with a win tonight. Vancouver will also be looking for some improvement tonight, as the last time they scored two goals in a match was eight games ago.
The Canucks are the slight favorites to win. Â They have a monyline set at -135 compared to the Senators line at +105. The game starts at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Oilers @ Predators
This will be the first of a three game series between these two teams. Last season the Oilers had Nashville’s number in the two of three games they played against each other.
All eyes will be on new Oiler Ilya Bryzgalov. This will be his first start since signing with the team. He looked impressive when he came in late in a game against the Blackhawks a few days ago, where he stopped 12 shots before allowing one goal in a 5-1 loss. He will  be replacing Devan Dubnyk. Dubnyk previsouly made ten straight strats
The Predators are the favorites to win with a -145 moneyline. The Senators line is set at +115. This game starts at 8:05 p.m. ET.
