Ohio Sate QB Cardale Jones Rushed to Hospital With Severe Headache
According to multiple sources, Ohio State’s Cardale Jones, one of two starters at quarterback Urban Meyer recently named for the Buckeyes this year, was rushed to the hospital Wednesday night with “severe head pain.â€

Confirmed by a couple of sources: Cardale Jones was taken to a hospital for bad migraine. Is resting and should be good.

The initial reports were quickly confirmed by the Toledo Blade’s Dave Briggs. who spoke to Jones’ mother about what is now being classified as “just a migraine,†that according to Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller.

What we don’t know at this point is how this could impact Jones’ availability for Ohio State’s season opener against Virginia Tech on Monday. With a QB competition that has been too close to call, this could prove a decided advantage to J.T. Barrett, should Jones be unable to play.
