Patriots reportedly mulling bringing back Antonio Brown
Things could be coming full circle for free-agent wide receiver Antonio Brown and the New England Patriots. After releasing the Pro Bowler back in September, the Patriots are reportedly discussing the possibility of re-signing Brown.
The news was first reported by former NFL player and WEEI personality Christian Fauria.

Antonio Brown was released after just one game as a member of the Patriots when multiple allegations of sexual assault became public record. New England initially signed the six-time Bowler after the Oakland Raiders released him ahead of Week 1.
Since then, Brown’s social media activity coupled with the NFL’s investigation into the above-mentioned allegations have made it seem like a return to the gridiron this season was unlikely.
If Brown were to sign with the Patriots, he’d still face discipline from the National Football League. Whether this is playing a role in talks behind the scenes remains to be seen.
