Rangers Overtake Blackhawks In Future Odds

The Chicago Blackhawks have sat firmly atop the NHL future odds for the large majority of the season. However, over at Bovada the New York Rangers have overtaken the Blackhawks in the odds.

Other shifts see the Minnesota Wild storm up the odds and overtake the Anaheim Ducks and Montreal Canadiens.

A few weeks ago it seemed like the Canadiens were climbing the odds and may be the ones to overthrow the Blackhawks. However, that was not the case, as the Canadiens now sit at 10/1.

The Nashville Predators will be looking to clinch a playoff spot later today and sit at 10/1 currently. They are currently dealing with an injury to Pete Weber, though. He is day-to-day. The longer he it out, the more of a toll it might take on the Preds.

The Blue Jackets, Flyers, Coyotes, Oilers, Maple Leafs, Devils, Hurricanes and Sabres are now off the boards with no chance of making a playoff run.
