RB Adrian Peterson expected to meet with Patriots
Well, it took a few weeks, but the New England Patriots are reportedly going to host Adrian Peterson for a free agency visit Monday.

Of course, signing Peterson would be just one of many huge moves the Patriots have made this offseason, if they end up landing the free agent veteran running back.
If he’s healthy and can stay healthy, then he’d be an upgrade to LeGarrette Blount, who was not picked back up by the Pats after his one-year deal expired following the 2016 campaign. That’s saying something, however, because Blount led the NFL with 18 rushing scores.
Of course, this is likely just a preliminary visit unless the Patriots make Peterson an offer he cannot refuse. That said, he has reportedly stated he wants to play with an established quarterback, and Tom Brady more than fits that mold.
