Richard Sherman looks fully healthy at 49ers minicamp
For the first time in his initial offseason with the San Francisco 49ers, All-Pro cornerback Richard Sherman practiced. He trained during the mandatory minicamp on Tuesday in Santa Clara.
Sherman is recovering from a torn Achilles he suffered in Seattle last season. He is now expected to be a full participant when training camp opens later in the summer.

If the video evidence from Sherman’s initial practice is any sign, it certainly looks like he is 100 percent recovered from said Achilles injury.
Heading into the 2018 season with playoff aspirations, the 49ers are going to be relying on Sherman for both veteran leadership and stellar on-field play in a talented but unproven secondary. How he performs in his first season with San Francisco will tell us a lot about whether this team will meet these lofty expectations.
