Rivalry Week: Alabama @ Auburn

Alabama has been perfect on the road this season and the book have them penciled in as -14.5 favorites this week in an away game against SEC rivals Auburn.

Auburn is 1-9 against the spread in its last 10 home games and Alabama is not the team they should be looking to turn their luck against. However, Auburn should compete and have some edge with homefield advantage, though the numbers say that advantage may be nonexistent.

Jeremy Johnson has likely earned a starting spot as quarterback in Auburn. The former Heisman contender had four touchdowns against Idaho last week.

The total for this game is 49 points, which may be low for Alabama’s high octane offense. Many bettors are favoring the OVER.
