Rob Gronkowski Ready To Hit The Ground Running In 2021
It’s fair to say the reunion between Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady in Tampa Bay went pretty well.
Last season culminated in the pair combining for a touchdown in the Bucs’ Super Bowl win over the Chiefs. It couldn’t have been better if the former Patriots teammates had written the script themselves.
That was by no means the final chapter, though, and Rob Gronkowski believes the best is yet to come.
The 32 year old is better acclimated to the playbook and among other things, the weather in Tampa.Â

Rob Gronkowski came out of a year-long retirement to join Brady on his new adventure. Naturally, the tight end needed some time to get back to his best.
After only having two catches for 11 yards in his first two games, he finished the season with 45 for 623.
His postseason followed a similar trajectory, with only two combined catches in the first three games. He ignited in the Super Bowl with six for 67, and two touchdowns via Tom Brady.
Gronkowski won’t take so long to get going this time around.

“It feels good,” said Gronkowski.
“Just coming in last year and trying to learn the playbook and be thinking when you get up to the line — it just feels a lot more efficient this year.”
“Dealing with the heat, that’s definitely a factor, no doubt about it. Just knowing a whole new system, a whole new playbook and knowing in the back of mind now,” Gronkowski said. “So, right when I break the huddle, I just go out there and just do what I gotta do and just react as a football player instead of thinking. I just feel a lot better out there this year and just overall in terms. Just gotta keep on working to improve every time.”
