Rockets Look To Stay Alive Vs. Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers are one game away from a trip to the Western Conference Finals, while the Houston Rockets will be looking for a win to force a Game 6.

The Clippers are the -3-point favorites against the Rockets.

The Rockets have been beaten badly over their last two games against the Clippers. In Game 4, the Rockets took a 128-95 shellacking on the road against LA. They did not even get close to cover a 6.5 point spread as underdogs.

Houston will enjoy home court advantage in Game 5, but they will need more than just some loud fan in order to beat the Clippers.

Houston has been struggling on offense. They have failed to make 100 points or more in Game 3 and 4 of their battle with Clippers, despite averaging 110 points a game in the first seven games of the postseason. James Harden is averaging 24 points game, nine assists and is shooting 45 percent, however, he is going to need some Help if Houston is going to get past the Clippers.

The Rockets have yet to figure out how to contain Chris Paul who missed the first two games of the series due to an injury. Paul is the Clippers offensive playmaker and his return has helped give LA the huge edge over Houston.

The Clippers are 4-1 against the spread over their last five games in Houston. LA is 5-1 against the spread over their last six games overall and 12-1 against the spread over their last 13 games on the road. The Rockets, on the other hand, have only covered once over their last six games.

The total for this game is set at 219 points. The total hit the OVER in Game 4. The Clippers have hit the OVER in their last five games. Houston has hit the OVER mark is six of their last seven games.

The game starts at around 7:30 p.m. ET. It can be watched on TNT.
