Royals Top MLB Mid-Season Future Odds
The break after the All Star Game marks the official halfway mark of the MLB season. At this point, pictures have began to become clear, but there are often second-half-of-the-season surprises that seemingly come from no where.
The Kansas City Royals finished the first part of the season on top of the future odds over at Bovada with 6/1 odds to win the World Series. The Royals do not have the best win-loss record in the MLB but they do have the best record in the American League. They went into the All Star break winning eight of their last ten games.
Some bettors do not expect the Royals to remain at the top of the odds for long, as they have been helped by a slew of pre-season favorites playing well below expectations. The Detroit Tigers, Cleveland Indians and Chicago White Sox have played well below expectations helping to elevate the Royals.
The Royals will kick off a series with the Chicago White Sox on Friday.
