Sam Bradford likely Week 1 starter for Cardinals
Barring some drastic struggles in camp or yet another injury setback, free agent acquisition Sam Bradford will be the Arizona Cardinals’ starting quarterback Week 1 against the Washington Redskins.
Wilks re backup quarterback it’s competition between Glennon and Rosen. It’s Sam Bradford job to lose. #CardsCamp

This shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise. Arizona didn’t sign Bradford to a bloated one-year, $20 million deal to hold a clipboard.
Though, reports during the offseason noted that rookie top-10 pick Josh Rosen could earn the starting job with a stellar camp. That was primarily due to Arizona’s decision to take it easy with the veteran.
Bradford, 30, missed all but two games to injury last season and has sat out a grand total of 42 games over the past five seasons. This is a clear indication that Rosen might get a chance to start as a rookie. But for now, it appears that Bradford is the Cards’ guy.
