Seahawks Mychal Kendricks suspended indefinitely by NFL

Seattle Seahawks linebacker Mychal Kendricks has reportedly been suspended indefinitely by the NFL over the insider trading charges he’s facing.

According to ESPN’s Field Yates, the NFL has suspended Kendricks indefinitely for violating the personal conduct policy after pleading guilty in federal court in late August for insider trading.

Earlier reports had the NFL suspension already being levied but Kendricks allowed to play during the appeals process. It seems the appeals process may ran its course and he has lost the battle.

Kendricks faces 30 to 37 months in prison and his sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 24; so excluding the suspension, he would have been able to play throughout the entire 2018 season.

The length of the suspension was unknown but it appears he won’t be able to return to football activities at least until after he serves his time.

An indefinite suspension doesn’t bold well for his chances to return in 2018.
