Speculation heats up as Urban Meyer spotted at Redskins game
Former Ohio State coach Urban Meyer is in attendance at the Redskins game on Sunday, according to NBC Sports Washington’s JP Finlay.
Urban Meyer is at FedEx Field today, per source. Former Ohio State head coach is a huge target for NFL teams looking for new coaches, and with Dwayne Haskins at QB, Redskins would love to land Meyer.

Meyer’s name has surfaced in rumors as a potential candidate for the open job in Washington in recent weeks and was on the top of fans’ lists before that. He coached Haskins at Ohio State, where he won a title and went 83-9 in his seven years in Columbus.
He retired from the Buckeyes at the end of the 2018 season, citing health reasons. Before his time in Columbus, Meyer spent six years at the helm in Florida, where he went 65-15.
Meyer stepped down from that program in 2009, also citing health reasons at the time.
