Spurs Creep To Near The Top Of The Future Odds

Despite being a No. 6 seed at the moment, the San Antonio Spurs have clearly returned to form. They are 7-3 over their last ten and currently on a three-game winning run.

If you go even deeper then their last ten, the Spurs have won 13 of their last 16 and are -6.5 favorites at most books to extend their three-game streak tonight against the Miami Heat.

With that success they have begun to climb up the future odds and now sit as the third biggest favorites to win the title. Last week the Spurs moved to 7/1 and are now 6/1 to win it all two years in a row.

Meanwhile, the rest of top teams have remained the same. The Golden State Warriors remain the second favorites with 12/5 odds, while the Cleveland Cavilers are 2/1 to win it all.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have began their predicted slide down the odds with Kevin Durant now out for the rest of the season. Sportsbooks are only giving the Thunder a slim chance with 33/1 odds of winning a title.

With Derrick Rose at contact practice today, the Chicago Bulls future odds may surge, though a doubt they reclaim their spot among the top three teams before the end of the season.
