Steelers teammate says Ben Roethlisberger wants to play 3 more years

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has been somewhat non-committal when it comes to his future with the team beyond 2018.
But this latest comment from center Maurkice Pouncey seemingly clears things up. According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Pouncey said Roethlisberger plans on playing for three more years.
M. Pouncey confirms B. Roethlisberger "told us three years" left of playing. "He says he wants to play out his contract so we’ll see.” Rothlisberger has two yrs left on deal, would need new one to play 3 — “even better, b/c I’ve only got two years left on mine," Pouncey said

That would take Big Ben beyond his current contract, which has two more years left. Roethlisberger, who turns 36 in March, is coming off a rebound season. He remained healthy and did not miss any time on the field in 2017 due to injury.
This marked the first time since 2014 that the quarterback did not experience any health-related issues that prevented him from playing.
We can see why Roethlisberger seems to be in positive spirits and wants to continue playing. As long as he remains healthy, Big Ben has one of the strongest arms in the business.
