Stephen Curry Believes Golden State Warriors Will Lose Before Carolina Panthers

The Golden State Warriors are dominating the competition in the NBA in historic fashion during the 2015-16 campaign. Stephen Curry and company has set an NBA record winning 19 straight games to start the year with no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Although the defending NBA champions seem unbeatable at this point, Curry believes his Warriors will lose before Cam Newton’s undefeated Carolina Panthers will this year via ESPN:

Reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry predicts the Golden State Warriors will lose a game before the Carolina Panthers, the only unbeaten team in the NFL.

Curry, a diehard Panthers fan and native of North Carolina, has supported his NFL team throughout this season and appears confident Ron Rivera’s squad have what it takes to go the distance via ESPN:

“So that means the Panthers get their Super Bowl win,” Curry said following a shootaround in preparation for Wednesday night’s game against the Charlotte Hornets at Time Warner Arena.

The flawless Panthers are cruising with an 11-0 record heading into Week 13 of the 2015 NFL season. Newton and company are the only team left in the league without a loss and could head into the NFL playoffs that way. The New England Patriots continue to be the favorite to win Super Bowl 50 with 13/5 odds followed by the Panthers at 11/2, according to Sportsbook.ag.

As for the defending NBA champions, Curry and company will be on the road on Wednesday night to face the Charlotte Hornets. As expected, the Hornets are heavy underdogs at +9.5 via Sportsbook.ag. Golden State will likely extend their win streak to 20 straight games this season with no telling when a formidable opponent will be able to hand the Warriors their first loss.
