Struggling Mets ticket prices going for $152 under face value
In what is turning out to be another lost season for the New York Mets, interest in the team is quickly dwindling. As a result, ticket prices for even marquee matches are dropping like New York in the standings.

A matchup between two of baseball’s best starters at an iconic stadium would seem like an easy sellout crowd. Yet the Mets, who entered Saturday with a 31-42 record, are now seeing ticket prices drop to less than a sixth of their face value.
Things could only get worse if New York pulls the plug on its immediate future and starts to trade off pieces like a Jacob deGrom.
If you’re in New York Saturday evening and want to see deGrom and Clayton Kershaw duel, you probably won’t find a better deal than this.
