Texas Rangers Make A Big Leap In Future Odds
The Texas Rangers are climbing the MLB standings and the future odds after sitting near the bottom of both back in May.
It was just a short month ago that the Rangers were in the bottom of the pack in the future odds, sitting with 500/1 odds to win a World Series thanks to a 16-23 record and fourth-place AL West standing. In that month, the Rangers have gone on a 14-4 run that includes a six-game winning streak. Texas now sits at second place in the AL West and is only three games behind the Houston Astros. Their performance has been good enough to propel them in the future odds as well, moving them to 33/1 to win it all.
Rangers’ division rivals the Seattle Mariners have fallen the other way. After starting the season among the top handful of teams in the future odds they now sit with the same odds as Texas at 33/1 to win the World Series.
The sportsbooks have begun to sour on the Washington Nationals who have dropped 3-7 games over there last ten. Washington sat tied with the Los Angeles Dodgers last week at the top spot but now have 15/2 odds to win the World Series, which is good enough for a three-way second place tie. Performance is what finally drug the Nationals down who may again skyrocket once they pull out of their recent slump.
