Tony Romo Returns for Cowboys in Game Versus Dolphins

Week 11 of the NFL regular season sees the NFC East Dallas Cowboys travel to take on the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. The current line has Dallas favored by 1 point with the over/under point total sitting on 46.5.

Tony Romo will return for Dallas after missing seven games with a broken collarbone. The veteran Cowboys quarterback knows the team has a difficult road ahead of them and a very slim chance of making the postseason. Dallas was 0-7 while Romo was sidelined.

Miami is still within just one game of a wild card in the AFC. The Dolphins are coming off a tough 20-19 win over the Philadelphia Eagles last weekend. Miami’s offense is directed by the talented signal caller Ryan Tannehill.

Dallas has used a mix of run and pass with Romo out injured. Darren McFadden has been the Dallas workhorse in the backfield. Dez Bryant the talented wide receiver for Dallas returned two games ago from a broken foot but has not been a dominant force without Romo under center.

Miami is one of a half dozen teams battling for the second AFC wildcard. However, its struggling offense is making it difficult for the Dolphins to win on a regular basis.

The defense hopes to have Brent Grimes a cornerback in the lineup after he missed last week’s game due to an illness.

Ndamukong Suh the defensive tackle for Miami has recorded one sack or more in three of the past four Dolphins games.

Bryant the wide out for the Cowboys did not practice Wednesday but will likely play Sunday.

Koa Misi an outside linebacker for Miami and Jelani Jenkins are questionable for Sunday’s game.

The visiting team is 4-1 against the number in the past 5 games between the two teams.

Dallas will have their emotions running high with the return of Romo to the starting lineup. Miami will look to continue its winning ways in a battle for an AFC Wildcard berth.

This game will be very closely contended with Dallas covering the number.
