Top 3 Odds To Win NCAA Tournament

Tomorrow the Sweet 16 will begin to be narrowed down. There are some surprises on the list of 16 teams still hanging in the NCAA Tournament.

Tennessee namely, is one of the biggest surprises left in the Sweet 16 teams.  The No. 11 seed ended up facing off against Mercer in the round of 32 after Mercer upset Duke.  UT dominated Mercer and never let them lead in the game.  They have 28/1 odds to win it all.

Perhaps the most surprising under dog in the tournament is San Diego State.  San Diego State is the No. 4 seed coming into the tournament.  However, they are among the teams with the top 3 worst odds to win the national title.  They have 33/1 odds to win it all.

With that said, here are the teams with the best odds to win the NCAA national title:

Florida 10/3

Florida entered the tournament as the top ranked team in the nation, so it is not a surprise to see the sportsbooks play it safe and give them the best odds to win it all.  However, rarely does the AP’s No. 1 team win the national title.  So what makes this year be any different?

Well, the Gators are starving for a title.  Their team have four senior starters.  Every year, they have made it to the elite eight and then dropped.  Coming that close every year has made the Gators want this more than ever.  That determination could be the x-factor Florida needs.

Louisville 10/1

Louisville kicked it into high gear toward the end of the season, winning 14 of their last 15 games.  They looked as though they may be slipping, however, with their underwhelming wins against Manhattan and Saint Louis.

They are on a collision course with Kentucky.  It will be the biggest challenge for the defending champions.

Michigan State 11/2

Michigan State is healthy, and we are finally seeing what this team is made.  Not only does Michigan State have some great odds of winning it all, but many also have them pegged as the team that can win it all.
