With the first five weeks of the 2015 NFL season officially in the books, the New England Patriots are arguably the best team in the league and on pace to make another run at a Super Bowl title. Although there’s still a lot of football left to be played, Tom Brady and company have lived up to and exceeded expectations thus far.

Coming into Week 6, the Patriots will take on the struggling Indianapolis Colts in a rematch of last season’s AFC Championship Game on the road at Lucas Oil Stadium. This matchup will be a far cry from the one back in January with Indianapolis clearly not the same dominant team they were last season.

With quarterback Andrew Luck’s playing status up in the air heading into Week 6, the spread for this game will likely change over the course of this week. Luck has been dealing with a nagging shoulder injury which has forced him out the last two games. The perennial Pro Bowler was a full participant in practice on Monday, but he may still miss the game against the Patriots.

According to Sportsbook.ag, the Patriots are heavily favored to come out on top against the Colts in Indianapolis on Sunday. New England is currently favored by -9 to get their fifth win of the season with that spread probably changing slightly if Luck is on the field come game time.

The Patriots have been unstoppable on the offensive side of the football field in their first four games with no team able to contain Bill Belichick’s high-powered offense. Brady and company have put an averaged of 37.3 points per game this season which is surprisingly second in the NFL behind the Arizona Cardinals (38.0).

New England’s offense will likely continue to score at high rate against a subpar Colts defense in Week 6. The spread, whether it is -9 or less, should be easily covered by the Patriots.
