Unemployable Curt Schilling Plotting Presidential Run
Move over Donald Trump, the GOP now has another bankruptcy prone blowhard eyeing the White House. Just when you thought political discourse in the U.S. couldn’t possibly sink any lower, enter Curt Schilling, the lowest common denominator with his endless supply of bigoted memes.
On Monday, eagle-eyed SI reporter Dan Gartland, who must be covering the crazy internet rantings beat this week, posted a disturbing Facebook exchange between Schilling and one of his minions. Or maybe it’s one of his trolls? Honestly, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to discern online.
While the exchange hardly counts as an official announcement, there is absolutely nothing currently known about Curt Schilling that suggests he has even the vaguest hint of a sense of humor and that this was a feeble attempt at a joke.
Does he lie? Of course—he lies literally all of the time. But those lies are usually about other people, like Democrats or Muslims, not about himself. Which means Schilling was probably dead serious and honestly believes he’ll be a viable presidential candidate to succeed, presumably, a two-term President Donald J. Trump.
Overrated MLB pitcher —> Fired by ESPN for being a bigot —> State Senate —> President of the United States
Yep. That seems like a reasonable trajectory.
