Vikings QB Sam Bradford to miss third straight start
Dealing with a bone bruise in the knee, Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford was not present at practice on Thursday. This seemed to be a clear indication that he will not play Sunday against the Detroit Lions.
The Vikings themselves confirmed that suspicion on Thursday.
Coach Zimmer says that Sam Bradford will miss #DETvsMIN.
@casekeenum7 will get his 3rd straight start.

Bradford has missed each of the past two games after suffering the injury in a blowout Week 1 win over the New Orleans Saints. Last week saw backup Case Keenum throw three touchdowns in a 34-17 win over Tampa Bay.
He’ll now be given another opportunity to prove himself against the Detroit Lions on Sunday. As it relates to Bradford, we have no real idea when he’ll be back on the field.
