Warriors star Draymond Green signs historic deal with Turner Sports
Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has progressively moved toward more involvement into the media side.
Green took another significant step toward increasing his presence in that realm as he agreed to a multi-year agreement with Turner Sports as an active player.
“I’ve had an amazing experience working with Turner Sports in recent years and I’m a big believer in the way they entertain and genuinely connect with fans on all levels,” said Green, currently sidelined by an injury via ESPN. “Today’s announcement helps to formalize our relationship and I couldn’t be prouder to officially be a part of the of the TNT family.”
Green with have appearances on TNT’s “Inside the NBA” program while working to create content with Bleacher Report. He will work remotely to contribute to providing content through various projects during the season.
The 31-year-old has become a bigger presence in the media realm for the last several years. He’s smoothly transitioned in that space that has paved the way for him to become fully involved once he retires.

Green has continually reiterated that his primary focus likes on playing basketball with a desire to win more championships. He’s in the second year of his four-year, $99.6 million deal that runs through the 2023-24 campaign.
Green is recovering from a back injury that has kept him off the floor for several weeks. There is currently no timetable for his return as he’s ramping up his activity in his rehab process. The Warriors are expected to have another update on his recovery on Sunday.
