The Week 6 underdogs to watch list include the usual suspects of ‘dogs, including some winless teams that may finally get a “W.”

The New York Giants are not likely to scrape up a win this week as they are in their most vulnerable state of the season and offer little value. The fellow winless 49ers are heading to Washington who are coming off a bye. San Francisco is 10-point dogs in that contest and are not a viable buy this week. Meanwhile, Cleveland’s quarterback situation is chaos, meaning that winless teams are likely to remain that way this week.

Instead, bettors like the Detroit Lions against New Orleans. The total is the highest of the week set at 50 points. However, it is not the total that bettors want to focus on. This is likely to be a shoot out and the team with the better defense are the Lions, meaning their 5-point underdog spread looks good to lay money on.

Chicago, Miami and Pittsburgh are also underdogs this week. All three teams, though, have problems (i.e. Roethlisberger’s 5 interceptions last week). The smart money is on the Lions for underdog teams this week.
