West Virginia To Challenge Kentucky As 13-Point Underdogs
The NCAA Tournament is down to 16 teams. Tonight the undefeated Kentucky Wildcats will look to continue their quest to a perfect season combined with a National Title win. Standing in their way is the scrappy underdog West Virginia.
Kentucky are –13-point favorites against West Virginia.
The Mountaineers have been surprising many as they got past Buffalo as Underdogs and then defeated Maryland as slight -1.5 favorites in a 69-59 victory.
West Virginia has also been good to bettors in their last few games, going 4-1 against the spread over their last five games. In fact, all season they have covered pretty consistently. They are 20-13 against the spread. However, they have yet to face a team like Kentucky.
Kentucky has looked like the tournament favorites thus far and that is why they are sitting pretty atop the odds.
In their last game they beat Cincinnati. They failed to cover an inflated 15.5 point spread as favorites. However, it was still a convincing 64-51 win for the Wildcats.
The total for the game is set at 136. West Virginia has gone over in four of their last six games. Kentucky has favored UNDER bettors in four of their last six games.
