Where Will Anthony Davis Be Playing in 2019-20 Season
Anthony Davis has announced that he does not intend to remain with his current team the New Orleans Pelicans over the long term. Due to that, odds makers are releasing odds on what team will land Davis. The favorite is the Los Angeles Lakers.
Odds have been released with the Lakers as the -125 favorite on several sportsbooks to acquire Davis in a blockbuster trade. Following the Lakers on the odds boards are the Boston Celtics at +150, New Orleans Pelicans at +600, New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers at +850.
The Lakers seem to be the logical location for Davis to end up first of all due to comments made by LeBron James in December that he would love to play with Davis.

Although the Lakers do not have the best players to include in a trade package, reports have Kyle Kuzma, Lonzo Ball, Ivica Zubac and a top round draft pick going to New Orleans.
One big reason that the Lakers may end up with Davis is that he and James have the same agent.

Anthony Davis has said he wants to play for a championship contender and win on a regular basis. That does not rule the Celtics out, but after acquiring Kyrie Irving in a trade, the Celtics cannot sign another max player until July 1, which also happens to be the same day Irving can become a free agent.
Although odds makers have given the Celtics an outside chance at landing Davis to play in Beantown, it appears the most likely destination for the Pelicans’ star is in Tinsel Town and playing for the Lakers not the Clippers.
