Kennesaw State
Kennesaw State University, located in metro Atlanta, is home of the KSU Owls who compete in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision as a member of Conference USA. Established in 2015, the program quickly gained prominence, securing three Big South Conference championships and earning four FCS playoff berths between 2017 and 2021. In 2022, the Owls transitioned to the Atlantic Sun Conference and began their move to the FBS level. In 2024, they joined Conference USA, marking a new era for the program. The Owls play their home games at Fifth Third Stadium in Kennesaw, Georgia. Under the leadership of head coach Jerry Mack, who took over in December 2024, the team aims to build upon its successful foundation and compete at the highest level of college football.
