Oh, Canada! Dwyane Wade Has Angered A Nation

On Saturday the Miami Heat lost on the road to the Toronto Raptors, who took a 2-1 advantage in the semifinals series. It was a particularly rough night for Dwyane Wade, who not only had to suffer through a crushing four-point defeat, but also managed to anger an entire nation in the process.
Known for being friendly and aggressively polite, if the world was a beauty pageant, Canada (minus Quebec) would win Miss Congeniality every single year. That being said, it seems there may be a serious complex of some sort simmering just below the amiable façade.

So what, exactly, did D-Wade do to earn the red-hot ire of such an agreeable population? Well, prior to Game 3, Wade was spotted taking warm-up shots while a singer was performing the Canadian national anthem at midcourt.
You’d think 10 months of winter would result in an especially thick skin, but apparently Canadians are just as thin-skinned as the rest of us. It’s been nearly 24 hours since Wade’s deeply disrespectful slap in the face, but Canuck resentment on Twitter is still fresh.

Wow. Burn on D-Wade for not living up to the imaginary standards Prince would have set in a theoretical scenario in which he was still alive and had attended the Heat-Raptors game in Toronto.
And seriously—what is the NBA supposed to do in this situation? Cancel the rest of the series, give the win to the Raptors, and recommend Dwyane Wade be charged with a hate crime?
