Golden State boasts 1-0 series lead heading into Wednesday’s home game against Portland and swept the Blazers in four outings during the regular season. It stands to reason that the team would play it cautious with the former MVP in this situation.
With Durant out of action, expect more of the scoring onus to fall on to the laps of fellow All-Stars Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.
Durant put up 32 points on 12-of-20 shooting while adding 11 rebounds in Golden State’s 121-109 win over Portland on Easter Sunday.
