Rams sign Ndamukong Suh to a one-year deal

The Los Angeles Rams have signed free agent defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, the team announced on Monday:

“We are excited to have Ndamukong as a part of the Los Angeles Rams,” general manager Les Snead said in a statement. “He’s been an outstanding player in this league and we are looking forward to him being a part of our defense.”

It’s a one-year deal worth up to $14 million, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter:

Last year, Suh totaled 48 tackles and 4.5 sacks. Over the course of his eight-year NFL career he’s tallied 51.5 sacks. He has been named to three First-Team All-Pro squads and five Pro Bowl teams.

This deal, assuming the Rams can get a deal done with Aaron Donald, gives Los Angeles the best 1-2 punch inside in the NFL.
