Arizona Cardinals Slight Favorites On The Road Against Pittsburgh Steelers
The Arizona Cardinals are cruising with Carson Palmer and company winning four out their last five games. As a result of the Cardinals’ dominance this season, Arizona is sporting the best record in the NFC West at 4-1 and appear to be well on their way to coming out on top in the division.
Coming into Week 6, the Cardinals will go on the road to face off against the Pittsburgh Steelers in a rematch of Super Bowl XLIII. Although the Steelers still have a winning record of 3-2, the team certainly isn’t the same without star quarterback Ben Roethlisberger under center. Roethlisberger suffered a sprained MCL a few weeks ago leading to Michael Vick playing the last two games.
With Vick set to be the starter once again in Week 6, the Steelers will be underdogs on their home field in Pittsburgh. The Cardinals are currently favored to win their fifth game of the season with a -4 point spread, according to Sportsbook.ag.
Arizona has easily been one of the best all-around teams in the league so far this season. Head coach Bruce Arians has this clicking, especially on the offensive side of the football field. Arizona is averaging a league-high 38.0 points per game ahead of the New England Patriots (37.3) and Atlanta Falcons (32.4). Pittsburgh, who was expected to be one of the better offenses in the NFL, is putting up 24.0 points per contest.
Although it is always tough to bet against the Steelers at Heinz Field, this week may be the exception. The Cardinals don’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon and will look to take advantage of this team with Roethlisberger still out with the knee injury.
