If Sanders is indeed lost for the season, it’s a major blow for a Broncos team that’s won three consecutive games to announce its presence in the AFC Playoff race.
Sanders, 31, has caught 71 passes for 868 yards and four touchdowns this season. With him sidelined, rookie Courtland Sutton will emerge as Case Keenum’s favorite target in the passing game.
