Cowboys WR Dez Bryant Returns To Practice; May Play Against Seahawks In Week 8
The Dallas Cowboys came into the 2015 NFL season with high hopes of competing for a Super Bowl title. The consensus seemed to be that the Cowboys would run away with the NFC East division and cruise into the NFL playoffs as a team with a legitimate shot of coming out of the NFC.
Unfortunately, things haven’t gone as planned with injuries to arguably the two best players on the team derailing the team’s chances of competing for a division title. Although the Cowboys have lost four straight since losing Dez Bryant and Tony Romo, Dallas may get their star receiver back on the squad in Week 8 against the Seattle Seahawks.
According to Eric Prisbell of USA Today, Bryant has returned to practice this week.
Mired in a four-game losing streak, the reeling Dallas Cowboys received a dose of good news Wednesday when wide receiver Dez Bryant returned to practice for the first time since breaking his foot Sept. 13 in the regular-season opener.
Although Bryant has finally returned to practice, there’s no guarantee he’ll be on the field this weekend against the visiting Seahawks at AT&T Stadium, via Prisbell.
Though he is nearing a return to game action, coach Jason Garrett cautioned there is no guarantee Bryant will play Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. As expected, Bryant was officially listed as “limited†in Wednesday’s practice report.
According to Sportsbook.ag, the Seahawks are favored to come out with the win in Week 8 against the Cowboys in Dallas. Seattle is the favorite with a -6.5 point spread.
If Bryant is active for Sunday’s game in Dallas, this spread will likely shift with the Seahawks still favored to get the win.
