Free Agent RB Latavius Murray Scheduled To Visit Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks are still looking for a viable replacement for Marshawn Lynch. Seattle was unable to replace the potential future Hall of Famer last season, but might be able to find one in free agency with one-time Pro Bowler Latavius Murray being an option for Pete Carroll and company.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Murray will visit with the team:

All signs appear to be pointing to the Oakland Raiders’ willingness to pass on re-signing the 27-year-old. Although Murray has played well in his three seasons with the Raiders, the team may not be up for paying the high asking price to retain Murray.
After being named a Pro Bowler for the first time in 2015, Murray followed up his breakout season with a solid 2016 campaign in Oakland. Murray rushed for 788 yards and a career-high 12 touchdowns. Despite the impressive touchdown count, Murray’s carries took a big dip going from 266 to 195.
As for the Seahawks, the running game has been a weakness since Lynch’s departure. Seattle, along with Oakland, has also been linked to superstar Adrian Peterson. Murray may come at a sizable discount in comparison to Peterson and is the younger healthier option.
Seattle’s weak offensive line could be a concern with Murray going from the Raiders to the Seahawks. Oakland has one of the best offensive lines in the league while Seattle struggled to protect their running backs as well as quarterback Russell Wilson.
Along with the Seahawks, Murray is bound to have other suitors moving forward.
