Giants rookie Daniel Jones will start for New York vs. Redskins
At 3-11, the 2019 NFL season is over for the New York Giants in terms of competing for a playoff spot in the NFC. The struggling franchise simply wasn’t able to get things going this season for a number of different reasons, but they do seem to have some promise for the future with rookie quarterback Daniel Jones.
With the focus being on the future of the franchise, the Giants will have Jones back under center this week against the division rival Washington Redskins. Jones has been dealing with an ankle injury, but now appears to be ready to go, according to Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk.
