LeBron and Giannis to Captain 2019 NBA All Star Teams
LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo will captain the the two teams for the 2019 NBA All Star game.
Both LeBron and Giannis led the fan voting in their respective conferences during the NBA All Star voting 2019. As a result, they will lead the list of ten players selected to start the NBA All Star game 2019.
The rest of the starters were chosen by fans, current NBA players and members of the media. They will select from the pool of players selected as starters and reserves from each conference to build their teams.
They will first pick four players each before picking an additional seven reserves. Selections will be made regardless of which conference the players are based in.

It will be the 15th time that LeBron James plays in the All Star game. He is tied for the third most All Star selections in NBA history. Just ahead of him are Kobe Bryant (18) and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (19). Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Paul George and James Harden join him from the Western Conference.
Giannis Antetokounmpo will be appearing in the All-Star game for the third time in his career this year. The Greek Freak is joined by Joel Embiid, Kyrie Irving, Kawhi Leonard and Kemba Walker from the Eastern Conference. It will be Kemba Walker’s first All Star appearance.

The 2019 event will be the 68th NBA All Star Game. The full team rosters will be revealed on Thursday, February 7th.
The game itself will take place on Sunday, February 17 at 8pm at Spectrum Center in Charlotte, N.C. Team LeBron vs Team Giannis is expected to reach fans in over 200 countries and in over 40 languages.
