LeBron James will make his return to Cleveland to face the Cavaliers for the first time as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers on Nov. 21, league sources told ESPN.

There will be plenty of hype and scrutiny for this game. It will be nationally televised by the league and will certainly be a soldout contest. It will be the second time that he has graced a uniform other than the Cavaliers in his illustrious career.

It should have a different feeling around the game from the crowd from the last time around. This is because his second tenure with the franchise was highly successful. This saw him lead the team to four straight NBA Finals appearances while helping them bring back their first championship. It was also was the first for any Cleveland professional sports team in more than 50 years.

James is now headed into this next capture of his career with the task of guiding the Lakers back into relevancy in the league. Los Angeles has missed the playoffs in a franchise-worst five straight seasons, but the arrival the 33-year-old could quickly shift things in the right direction toward not only competing for a playoff spot but possibly further than just that.
