Lonzo Ball trying to ignore ‘all the noise’ regarding trade rumors
The New Orleans Pelicans are at the center of NBA trade rumors once again. Speculation has been running rampant about the team’s intentions ahead of the NBA trade deadline on March 25 with Lonzo Ball potentially being one of the players moved.
Ball has already been traded once in his career and it could happen again if the Pelicans are intent on moving him ahead of this year’s trade deadline. The 23-year-old is trying to stay focused by ignoring all the noise, via ESPN.

“I just stay the course,” Ball said when asked if he had any extra motivation this week. “I’ve been playing basketball for a long time. I put a lot of work in and just try to play my game. That’s how I play. I just try to stay away from all the noise and just go out there and try to help my team win games.”
Despite showing flashes of potential during his time with the Los Angeles Lakers and Pelicans, the former No. 2 overall pick has failed to live up to expectations. He’s dealt with numerous injury problems, shooting woes and simply hasn’t become the versatile players many thought he’d be.

Lonzo Ball is currently averaging 12.9 points, 4.9 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game while shooting 40.1 percent from the floor and 33.0 percent from beyond the arc.
Although the Pelicans have a lot of young talent with Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson leading the way, the team hasn’t been able to turn the corner in the post-Anthony Davis era, which is likely the reason for these trade rumors involving Ball.
