Michael Jordan Congratulates Warriors For Breaking Bulls’ Record
The defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors did the seemingly impossible on Wednesday night beating the Memphis Grizzlies and finishing the regular season with the best record in NBA history.
At 73-9, Stephen Curry’s Warriors best the ’95-96 Chicago Bulls by one game and will now be the measure of excellence in the league. Golden State’s historic has caused by the controversy among current and former players with a lot of people chiming on whether this team is truly better than Michael Jordan’s Bulls.
Although the debate rages on, Jordan accepted the fact that his former teammate, Steve Kerr, was able to lead the Warriors to such an incredible finish to the regular season. Jordan released the following statement through his manager, Estee Portnoy:

With the regular season and the quest for 73 wins now officially in the books, the Warriors will attempt to win a second straight NBA title. Golden State heads into the Western Conference playoffs as the top seed and the favorite to advance to the NBA Finals and win it all once again.
According to Sportsbook.ag, the Warriors have a few intriguing prop bets heading into the playoffs. Golden State has a prop bet on whether they’ll win the title this year with 5/9 odds for and 7/5 odds against. The Warriors also have a prop bet for losses in the postseason. The Over/Under is 5.5 for losses during the playoffs.
It’ll be interesting to see how the Warriors can perform after winning 73 games over the past few months. Although injuries and fatigue haven’t been major issues for Golden State, the playoffs are another beast entirely and will almost certainly test this historic squad as they attempt to make it two straight titles.
