Big 12 Football: Picks for Week 11 Games

The regular season is winding down in college football. With three weeks to go, Kansas State is on the verge of wrapping up the Big 12 championship with a record of 9-0, 6-0. The Wildcats have bigger goals still in mind. They want a shot at the national championship. They are very much in the hunt for it, but to get it they must win every game. The rest of the conference is just trying to get to the best bowl they can get to. Here are the lines on today’s Big 12 games.

Sportsbetting has the following odds:

Kansas at Texas Tech- Kansas is flat out awful. Texas Tech has been a pleasant surprise so far. They are 6-3, 3-3 on the season and will likely win their seventh game today. Kansas is +26 -115 or +1500. Tech is -26 -105 or -3000.  We like Kansas +26 just because that is a lot of points.

Iowa State at Texas- Iowa State is +10.5 -110 or +325. Texas is -10.5 -110 or -395. Over/under is 54.5. Texas has struggled a bit with some of the teams they should handle. But they’ll be inspired to go out and give a good performance today for the family of their legendary coach Darrell Royal, who passed away this week. We like the Longhorns -10.5.

West Virginia at Oklahoma State- Has any team’s stock plummetted like West Virginia in recent weeks? Once a strong contender for the national championship and Heisman Trophy with quarterback Geno Smith, WVU now finds itself still trying to become bowl eligible in November. West Virginia is +10-110 or +310. The Cowboys are -10 -110 or -370. The over/under is a whopping 77. We are going to go with the under just because that is so high. And we are going to take West Virginia +10.5.

Baylor at Oklahoma– Baylor is learning life after RGIII is tough. They still have a shot to get bowl eligible at 4-4. Oklahoma still has a shot at a really good bowl, but can ill afford any more losses. Baylor is +21.5 -110 or +970. OU is -21.5 -110 or -1400. Over/under is 75.5. Another tremendously high number on the over/under so we’ll go with the under and also takes Baylor with 21.5.

Kansas State at TCU– We know what K-State has on the line here. TCU is 6-3, 3-3 so a win for them would be big. It could mean a much better bowl with a win today. They are capable of pulling off the upset, especially with K-State’s Heisman candidate quarterback Collin Klein a bit banged up. TCU is +6.5 -110 or +210. Kansas State is -6.5 -110 or =250. Over/under is 57.5. We are going to go with Kansas State -6.5 in this one. K-State just has too much for the Horned Frogs.
