2021 NFL Schedule Release: 5 best games of Week 1
We now know the entire 2021 NFL Schedule after it was unveiled on Wednesday night. Here are the five best games from Week 1.
5. Arizona Cardinals at Tennessee Titans
Nobody is going to talk much about this game. It’s an interconference clash between two teams trying to gain more attention on the national stage. After going to the AFC title game in 2019, the Titans won their division in 2020 but were ousted in the Wild Card round. Meanwhile, Arizona looked to be a darling last season after starting 5-2, but missed the playoffs at 8-8. Both teams can score and have dynamic stars. Should be a great one.
4. Green Bay Packers at New Orleans Saints
This is going to be a fascinating Week 1 game of the 2021 NFL schedule. Do the Packers have Aaron Rodgers, or is it time for Jordan Love (or someone else)? Also, if it is Rodgers at the helm, does he play with a carefree attitude befitting his talent, or is he brooding throughout? As for the Saints, they are trying to get back at it after Drew Brees retired. This will be the first year without Brees as the starting quarterback in New Orleans since 2005. Huge shoes to fill in the Bayou.

3. Seattle Seahawks at Indianapolis Colts
Another interconference affair, this time between two more established teams. The Colts might be the biggest wild card of any team in the NFL. If Carson Wentz can step up and play the way he did in 2016, Indy has a chance to gain traction in the AFC. The defense should be one of the league’s better units, while the offense has potential in second-year receiver Michael Pittman Jr. and running back Jonathan Taylor. For Seattle, the game represents a chance to get a nice road win to begin 2021, helping the Seahawks assert themselves in the NFC West.
2. Pittsburgh Steelers at Buffalo Bills
If the Steelers can pull the upset here, we know not to count them out in 2021. The Steelers lost some talent in free agency but added an offensive piece in running back Najee Harris in the NFL Draft’s first round. Will that be enough to beat the Bills, who won 13 games in the 2020 campaign before falling in the AFC Championship Game?

1. Cleveland Browns at Kansas City Chiefs
A rematch of the AFC Divisional round. Cleveland has enjoyed a fine offseason, adding first-round corner Greg Newsome along with free-agent signings corner Troy Hill and safety John Johnson. They’ll need all three to play well in Week 1 against Kansas City, which revamped its offensive line and boasts such stars as quarterback Patrick Mahomes, receiver Tyreek Hill and tight end Travis Kelce. This could be a preview of a January clash.
