2021 NFL season: 5 best OVER bets for the season
Looking at the 2021 NFL season, we pick five teams that should go OVER on their win totals come January.
5. Tennessee Titans (9.5)
Look at all the factors. The Titans have been a playoff team each of the last two years, and the roster just added Julio Jones, Denico Autry and Bud Dupree. Yes, there were losses such as Corey Davis, Jonnu Smith and Adoree Jackson, but Tennessee’s roster is explosive. The offense should be excellent, and Tennessee is in a terrible division. If the Indianapolis Colts don’t get a better version of Carson Wentz, Tennessee could have five wins in the AFC South alone.

4. Washington Football Team (8)
Again, another team really strong on one side of the ball in a bad division. Washington should have one of the best defenses in the league, led by a front seven which includes Da’Ron Payne, Chase Young, Montez Sweat and Jonathan Allen on the line. While Ryan Fitzpatrick isn’t exciting as the starting quarterback, he has good weapons in receivers Terry McLaurin and Curtis Samuel, and running back Antonio Gibson. Washington shouldn’t be a contender, but nine wins? Surely in play.
3. Buffalo Bills (10.5)
Why won’t the Bills win at least 11 games this season? Buffalo gets to play in a division where no other team made the playoffs last season. The AFC East is improved, but going 4-2 or 5-1 is certainly possible. The Bills also have almost the exact same roster as a year ago when the club went 13-3 and cruised to the AFC Championship Game. With an extra tilt on the slate, 10.5 should happen easily.

2. Minnesota Vikings (8.5)
The Vikings aren’t getting much play in the national media, but they have a loaded roster. The defense includes stars such as Harrison Smith, Bashaud Breeland and Patrick Peterson in the secondary, along with Danielle Hunter, Eric Kendricks, Michael Pierce and Dalvin Tomlinson in the front seven. Offensively, there’s Kirk Cousins and Dalvin Cook in the backfield with Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson on the flanks. Minnesota is underrated, and the NFC North is relatively weak. Good combo for the over.
1. Kansas City Chiefs (12)
This doesn’t need much explanation. The Chiefs won 12 games in 2019 despite injuries galore, and went on to win the Super Bowl. Last year, Kansas City dropped only one game when the starters played in the regular season. If the Chiefs have a healthy Patrick Mahomes, they are going to win more than 12 games.
