5 teams that must win in NFL Week 10

5. Philadelphia Eagles

The defining champions have to get going off their bye week in NFL Week 10. General manager Howie Roseman gave the team a shot in the proverbial arm when he traded for wide receiver Golden Tate at the deadline, and now Tate will make his debut in Philadelphia on Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys. At 4-4, the Eagles sit one game back of the Washington Redskins in the NFC East. The time is now to either begin making a move or to all but slide off the radar.

4. Los Angeles Chargers

Normally, a 6-2 wouldn’t need to win a game. This isn’t a normal year. The Chargers are almost guaranteed to make the playoffs, but if they want any chance of winning the AFC West, this is an absolute must-win against the lowly Oakland Raiders. The Kansas City Chiefs are pacing the division by 1.5 games, and are hosting the Arizona Cardinals at Arrowhead. The Chargers must keep pace and then make up the difference going forward.

3. Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars are on life support coming off their bye week. Jacksonville has lost four straight, including a heartbreaker against the Eagles over in London two weeks ago. Now, at 3-5, the Jaguars take on the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium with the prospects of either getting back into the AFC South race or falling into the abyss. Jacksonville needs to shut down Andrew Luck and hope Blake Bortles doesn’t scuttle it with turnovers.

2. Green Bay Packers

This is football armageddon for the Packers. Either beat the Miami Dolphins at Lambeau Field this Sunday or simply head off into the sunset until 2019. At 3-4-1, the Packers are already looking at a steep hill to climb if they are going to make the playoffs, but it starts here. Green Bay has two games in five days with the Dolphins coming to the frozen tundra before the Packers head to Seattle for a Thursday night clash. If Aaron Rodgers is going to start one of his patented hot runs through November and December, it begins now.

1. Seattle Seahawks

Seattle lost a tight game to the Chargers last weekend, and now heads to Los Angeles for a date with the Rams. The Seahawks are 4-4 and while the division was decided long ago in favor of the Rams, Seattle still has a real chance of getting into the postseason as a wild card team. However, the Seahawks will have to win a tough game or two, beginning here with the Rams. As the season wears on, Seattle has to play the Panthers, Vikings and Chiefs as well, so at some juncture, the Seahawks must find a way to knock off some elite contenders.
