Bears QB Nick Foles not upset Tom Brady avoided him after Bucs loss
The Chicago Bears are having a better than an expected season after their first five games. There was a quarterback change with the team making the switch from Mitchell Trubisky to veteran Nick Foles. However, the team continues to exceed expectations. Their latest win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is arguably their most impressive so far.
In typical Foles fashion, the one-time Super Bowl champion was able to lead the Bears to another come-from-behind victory over the same man, Tom Brady, that he beat in the Super Bowl a few years back. After the game, Brady didn’t do the traditional thing to meet the opposing quarterback in the middle of the field, but that didn’t irk Foles who was looking for him, via Andrew Perloff of the Dan Patrick Show.

With this win over the Buccaneers, the Bears are now 4-1 on the season and a serious threat to the division-leading Green Bay Packers in the NFC North. Tampa Bay, however, is struggling to meet expectations to start the Brady era. The team is now 3-2 and not looking like the title contender most thought they might be this season with the superstar under center.

Even though the Bucs aren’t looking as good as anticipated and the Bears are exceeding their expectations thus far, it is still very early in the season with anything possible moving forward.
