Broncos superstar Von Miller shows off receiving skills

Throughout his first nine seasons in the league, Denver Broncos star outside linebacker Von Miller has developed into one of the league’s best players.

Von Miller has found tremendous success behind his freakish athleticism and skill. He recently put that on display after he put a video of him catching passes during an individual workout.

Miller certainly has the physical traits to be an imposing pass catcher in a tight role. He could possibly work well in a goal-line option like three-time Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt proved with the Houston Texans. It’s highly unlikely that he will take up that role with the Broncos, given his tremendous value defensively, but it’s something that he appears to show he’s capable of doing.

It’s just a matter of getting that opportunity to prove it during practice then a game. Teammate Jerry Jeudy took to social media to voice that Miller could potentially get on the field as a tight end option. The Broncos would have to be on board with playing him on offense, but his value to their defense may outweigh any chance he plays offense.

Miller has put forth a tremendous NFL career that has seen establish himself as one of the best defensive talents. He has earned eight Pro Bowl selections, three First-Team All-Pro nods, and four Second-Team All-Pro nominations. Miller also won Super Bowl 50 MVP honors, which the only thing blank on his resume is a Defensive Player of the year award. He has the chance to add that in the 2020 season.
